COLO-SPEED ‘OPEN FOR BUSINESS’

Last year, we announced £985,000 funding for COLO-SPEED, which aims to become the world’s largest colorectal cancer research group.

The project is led by Professor Colin Rees, who stresses the vital importance of contacting your GP now with any possible cancer symptoms.
Passionate about early diagnosis and treatment, Professor Rees says: “As in all areas of life COVID-19 is having an ongoing impact but we are managing this and must remember that other diseases such as colorectal cancer have not gone away.
“Cancer diagnostics, treatment and research are absolutely open for business.”
