COUNTY DURHAM BALL AT WINTER GARDENS

This September, a special fundraising ball in County Durham will help raise money for two charities that are very important to the region.

The Charity Ball at Beamish Hall’s Winter Gardens will support the work of the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and Willow Burn Hospice and promises to be an enchanting night in an historic and beautiful venue.

Lady Elsie Robson 3The event is being organised by Willow Burn Hospice, with help from Lady Elsie, and entertainment includes a fantastic Michael Buble tribute performer.

Lady Elsie says: “I’m very much looking forward to this night.  The fundraising team at Willow Burn are working so hard to make it a special evening and I’m sure it will be.”

Willow Burn Hospice, in Lanchester, treasures the lives of people whose illnesses are no longer curable, enabling them to achieve the best quality of life.  Its local hospice services provide a friendly and supportive environment in which everyone feels welcome.

Helen Mills, Willow Burn Hospice chief executive, says: “We are really looking forward to meeting our supporters in September and sharing this evening with the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation, continuing to treasure lives within our community.”

The Charity Ball at Beamish Hall Hotel, Stanley, is on 16 September.
