THREE DAYS ‘COASTING’

Neil Pearson, aged 56 from Dunston, recently finished a coast to coast cycle ride – from Whitehaven to Tynemouth – to raise funds for us.

With a group of friends and a back up driver, they completed three days of cycling raising £1,593 to support our work.

Neil, an electrical project engineer with Robertson Engineering Services, says: “I’m definitely not a keen cyclist but we like to do a charity ride together every year.

“We had a chat earlier in the year and one of the lads suggested Sir Bobby and we all agreed. Unfortunately, cancer affects absolutely everyone and we’re happy to have done even just a little bit to help the Foundation’s work.”
