OUR FANTASTIC GREAT NORTH RUNNERS

Congratulations to everyone who undertook the Great North Run yesterday.

George Caulkin (Patron) and Keith Farquharson

Sir Bobby’s family and friends thoroughly enjoyed welcoming our runners and supporters into our tent in the Charity Village at the end of the famous half marathon.

And we were all thrilled by a surprise visit from the Great North Run’s founder, Brendan Foster.

As always, there was a very special atmosphere, a combination of tiredness and togetherness, and we hope you enjoy looking through this gallery of photos from the day.

Our special thanks to Owen Conlin, who flew in from Australia to do the run for us, and to Keith Farquharson, who is currently receiving treatment in the Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trials Research Centre – Sir Bobby would have greatly admired their incredible commitment.
