CHRISTMAS AT THE CATHEDRAL 2018

Lady Elsie is very much looking forward to this year’s Christmas at the Cathedral at St Nicholas’ Cathedral in Newcastle, which is once again in aid of our Foundation.

Always a wonderful festive night, it’s a great way to ‘officially’ start the Christmas celebrations.

Our thanks to the event organisers and sponsors, and to all the performers who volunteer their time to help.

A host of talented celebrities will perform songs, readings and comedy sketches, while choirs will sing both traditional festive songs and Christmas Carols.

This year will feature BBC TV’s Casualty star Chelsea Halfpenny, Maximo Park’s Paul Smith, vocalist Rachel Unthank, comedians Steffen Peddie and Jason Cook, The Swing Bridge Singers and fresh from her appearances in The Last Ship and Clear White Light; Charlie Hardwick.

A special reading will be given by Foundation Patron and football writer, George Caulkin, and long-term supporter, Billy Mitchell, will compere the show, while BBC Newcastle are the event’s official media partners.

Producer, Ray Laidlaw, says: “The line-up has something for everyone from comedy to music and the show is a great way to get you into the festive spirit. It’s a great family night out raises funds for a very worthwhile cause.”

Christmas at the Cathedral will take place on 13th December. Doors 6.30pm, start 7pm.

Tickets are priced (standard) £20 (VIP) £35 plus booking fees and are available from the Theatre Royal Box Office on 0844 811 2121.
